Susan Morgan, PhD, studied Southwest archaeology and holds degrees in English and environmental studies. In 1967 she began as Director of Education for The Wilderness Society where she worked for over ten years and has subsequently worked in education and outreach positions with wilderness, wildlands, and public lands conservation organizations. She is currently president of The Rewilding Institute and an editor of Rewilding Earth.

Susan is also a splendid artist who contributes her drawings to Rewilding and other groups.
