Katie is co-founder of Essex Editions, a small, artisanal publishing and author services company. She also works in administration at a local theater, as well as in many other service-oriented projects. In 2016, Katie published her first book, Essex, New York Architecture: A Doodler’s Field Guide, co-authored with Geo Davis. She graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a B.A. in English Literature and minors in Philosophy and Asian Studies.
