A Chance to Speak Up For Old-Growth Forests

Old Growth Forest Network

This summer has brought an unparalleled opportunity to help protect old-growth in our National Forests and less than one month remains for you to take part.

The United States Forest Service is calling for comments on a plan that shapes how they manage old-growth across every national forest, and we are asking our Network of supporters to take part in the public comment period. This comment period closes September 20th, so please take a moment to submit a comment and join the thousands of other voices calling for old-growth protection.

This is your chance to call for meaningful safeguards for our oldest forests so that they may be protected for generations to come. Click here to learn more about the plans and how you can easily and quickly submit a comment.

Old growth needs to continue to do all the important roles it plays: sequestering carbon, purifying water and providing habitat for wild plants and animals, not to mention solace for a human world badly in need of it!
