“Wilderness Under Siege” Roadshow, with George Wuerthner
George Wuerthner, Wilderness Watch’s Advocate-Organizer, is traveling the country to raise awareness about Wilderness and the threats facing it.

George Wuerthner c/o Wilderness Watch
“Geo” is talking about the challenges facing Wilderness, helping people better protect the Wildernesses in their backyards and around the country, and organizing against congressional and administration efforts to weaken or repeal the Wilderness Act.
We hope you can join us at one of the events during Geo’s tour! George is a well-known writer on conservation issues, having published 38 books and innumerable articles, essays, and opinion pieces. He’s given hundreds of presentations around the country on Wilderness, wildfire, livestock grazing, wildlife protection, and other public land issues. George is also a wildlands explorer extraordinaire, having hiked and paddled in more than 400 designated Wildernesses and more than 180 national park units.
Join us on May 30, Brunswick, ME, at 6:30 PM, at Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant Street Brunswick, ME 04011
The event is co-sponsored by RESTORE, Friends of Merrymeeting Bay, Gulf of Maine Books, Sierra Club-Maine Chapter, Friends of Baxter State Park, and The Rewilding Institute.
